Outer CV Joint Rubber Boot Kit – Mini Disc & Drum Type – GSV1185

Replacement Mini outer CV joint rubber boot kit to service one outer CV joint. Fits disc and drum brake Mini CV joints – GCV1013 or GCV1105.

Your Mini’s CV boots, also known as driveshaft gaiters, could be described as rubber socks that cover your driveshaft joints. A CV boot kit is a low-cost part that can make a big difference and save money in the long run. Without boots, these grease-laden moving parts would become thick with dirt and filth that would go on to wear the spherical joints prematurely.

Worn or damaged CV boots can cause your Mini to fail its MoT test, so it is a good idea to keep an eye on them and check their condition regularly.

Compatible With:
Mini outer CV joints on disc brake and drum brake applications
GCV1013 outer CV joint
GCV1105 outer CV joint

Features

  • Services one outer CV joint
  • Includes one rubber boot, grease and fixing ties
  • Fits both disc brake and drum brake Mini outer CV joints
  • Helps protect CV joints from dirt, moisture and grease loss
  • Supports long-term drivetrain reliability

Why Choose Mini Sport

Mini Sport has been supplying Classic Mini drivetrain parts worldwide since 1967. Small service parts such as CV gaiters (CV Boots) play an important role in protecting more expensive components, and our range is selected for reliable fitment and durability.

When to Change Your CV Rubber Boot / CV Joint Gaiter

If you hear clicking, knocking or clunking sounds when turning, especially on full lock, or you feel vibrations during acceleration, it is time to inspect your CV boots.

Worn or damaged CV boots can cause your Mini to fail its MoT test, so it is a good idea to keep an eye on them and check their condition often. Changing them when you spot cracks, splitting or grease leakage can prevent joint failure. Damaged boots should be replaced promptly, as they protect expensive CV joints from dirt.
